IRA Softwares was founded in 2013 in Indore. Since then we have delivered more than 300 projects for clients in over 20 countries.

Who we are

Small on purpose.

We keep the team deliberately small. That is a ceiling we chose, not a stage we are trying to grow out of.

The alternative — scaling headcount and putting an account layer between the client and the engineers — is how most agencies of our age end up working. It is also how the quality goes. When you work with us you talk to the people who wrote the code, and the person who scoped your project is still there two years later when it needs to change.

It does mean we turn work down. We would rather do four things properly than eleven adequately, which is why the services list is short and why an assessment sometimes ends with us recommending you do not build the thing.

The work has been consistent across those years: systems that carry real consequences. HIPAA-bound healthcare platforms. A payments system the client describes as never having lost a cent across thousands of dollars of daily transactions. Government ERP modules. More recently, AI running on client infrastructure. None of it is prototype work, and most of it is still ours to operate.

I started IRA Softwares in 2013 because I wanted to build software that stayed in service — not demos, not pilots, not projects that get handed over and quietly rewritten a year later.

What I have learned since is that the difference is almost never the technology. It is whether the team understood the workflow well enough to make the right architectural decision early, and whether they were still around when the consequences of that decision arrived.

We have kept the company small so that we can be. Most of our clients have worked with us for years, several across multiple products, and a number of the systems on this site are ones we still run today.

AI has not changed that principle. It has raised the stakes on it. There is more pressure than ever to ship something impressive quickly, and more work than ever hiding between an impressive demo and a system your team can rely on. That gap is where we have always worked.
