Context
Our client is a technology services provider in US healthcare building a way for people to reach a clinician immediately — high-quality primary care and prompt medication delivery, without a waiting room.
Problem
Telemedicine that is only a video call solves half the problem. A clinician who cannot take a temperature, listen to a chest or read a blood pressure is guessing. To hold to real clinical standards the consultation had to carry live readings from physical instruments at the patient’s end, in the same session, reliably enough that a doctor would act on them.
That is a different engineering problem from video conferencing. It means a browser session, a hardware layer and a clinical workflow all staying in sync, and failing safely when one of them does not.
Approach
The client came to us for WebRTC specifically. What the project turned into was the harder question underneath it: how do you make a browser-based consultation talk to connected medical devices and stay trustworthy?
We set up three separate environments — development, QA and production — and implemented CI/CD before feature work got going. On a system where a bad deploy sits between a patient and a doctor, release discipline is a clinical safety measure, not an engineering preference.

- Device integration — a communication layer between the application and remotely connected medical instruments
- Three-environment setup with CI/CD across development, QA and production
- Ongoing work on interface refinement and standard security compliance
Stack: Angular, .NET Framework, AWS, WebRTC, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
Results
The system is in service and we remain the engineering team behind it, currently working through interface changes and security compliance for wider rollout.
Metric slot — needs client approval. Consultations delivered, session success rate, or time-to-clinician would be the strongest three.
