Context
Our client is an established player in US real estate. Buyers had moved online ahead of the industry, and the client wanted to close that gap rather than wait.
Problem
Property listings live in the MLS. Getting them onto your own site accurately, and keeping them current, requires IDX integration — and without it an agency is either retyping listings or sending buyers elsewhere to look.
But listings alone were no longer the differentiator. Buyers wanted to view a property without driving to it, agents wanted to run an open house for people in three time zones, and everyone involved — realtor, loan officer, buyer — needed to see the same transaction status instead of phoning each other for it.
The client needed all of that in one platform: live MLS data, live video viewings, and a transaction view shared across three different kinds of user.
Approach
We treated the live events as the hard part. Property search with IDX is well-understood work. Running scheduled one-to-one viewings and open houses as real-time audio and video, on mobile, against a listing that might change mid-session, is not.
We built the listing and search foundation first so that data accuracy was settled, then layered events and communication on top of it.

Results
The platform is in use across realtors, brokers and buyers.
Metric slot — needs client approval. Listings synced, live events hosted, or the change in viewings per property after remote open houses launched.
Note for Phase 5 review: the current live page contains an unreplaced placeholder, “XYZ Realty’s website”. It has been removed here.
